During this public health emergency, the Lanier Tech Library is committed to providing access to our resources and services. Though our physical spaces may be closed, many of our resources and services can be accessed virtually. We appreciate your assistance in complying with public health recommendations, as well as your patience with the changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I come on campus to access computers?

A: Unfortunately, all Lanier Tech campuses are closed due to the public health emergency. This includes Lanier Tech libraries, which means no access to our computers. Some public libraries remain open. Please check the GPLS COVID-19 page as to whether your public library may be open: https://georgialibraries.org/coronavirusupdate/#covidupdatetable.

Q: I have a book checked out! Will a hold be placed on my account?

A: No! The Lanier Tech Library has extended the due date for all items currently out to be due after we reopen. We have also stopped processing library holds.

Q: Can I request a book from the library or through TechShare?

A. No. We currently can't process requests for physical items.

Q: I have an extra credit assignment for Psychology, but it says I need to meet with a librarian. How can I complete this?

A: Please see the extra credit tab on the Psychology Research Guide.

Q: I have a research/citation question. How do I get help?

A: Contact your campus librarian! We are available via email. We can also arrange a WebEx meeting if you believe your questions are too complex for just email.
